Alison Fogel - Managing Partner and Chief Technical Specialist

Alison Fogel The founder of Lighthouse Placement Services, Alison Fogel, started her career in technology staffing in 1992. She graduated from Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. Soon after graduation, Alison joined a staffing firm as a Recruiter and quickly advanced in the corporation. She was promoted to Account Manager, Branch Manager and On-site Manager during her nine years with the firm. She worked with a large number of companies from small start-ups to multi-national corporations in industries such as Defense, Semiconductor, Medical Devices, Telecommunications and Pharmaceutical. After leaving agency staffing, Alison's career continued as a Recruitment Consultant.  She consulted directly with clients such as MKS Instruments, Nortel Networks, Fluidsense and Masy Systems offering small to large scale recruitment strategies. She worked as both an individual contributor and as one of a 30 person team. After gaining valuable corporate recruiting and Human Resources experience, Alison founded Lighthouse Placement Services, LLC in February 2001. The Lighthouse philosophy is to constantly improve process and quality which results in outstanding service to both their clients and their contract workforce. Based on this philosophy, Lighthouse has grown to a staff of fourteen internal employees and a contract workforce of over one hundred consultants in six states and growing. In 2006, they were voted one of Boston's Best Places to work by their employees. Alison Fogel continues to be involved in recruitment improvement, account development and the overall strategic growth of the organization. She is involved in many industry trade organizations and is a strong advocate for women in business, employment for veterans and encouraging young people to be interested in science.

David Fogel - Executive Vice President and Partner

David Fogel Dave Fogel started his career in technology staffing in 1986 and joined Lighthouse Placement Services in 2002. David graduated from Bryant University and joined a Massachusetts-based staffing firm specializing in Defense, Semiconductor, Medical Devices, Telecommunications and other technology disciplines. As one of the first people hired in the organization, he was instrumental in the growth of the company and held the titles of Recruiting Manager, Account Manager, Branch Manager and ultimately District Manager. He managed the most successful region within this national organization. After joining Lighthouse Placement Services, as Vice President and Partner, David has worked tirelessly to develop a relationship-based approach with clients. His efforts in developing the sales team and back office support group have created a solid foundation for the company.

David Allan - Corporate Controller and Operations Manager

David Allan David Allan joined Lighthouse Placement Services, LLC in 2003. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and a Master of Science of Accountancy from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the firm, David has held titles such as Controller at LeaMar Industries Incorporated and Techprint Incorporated and Regional Controller at Damon Clinical Laboratories. Since joining the firm, David has set up back office operations, hired accounting staff, developed budget templates, reduced outstanding accounts receivables, researched and implemented benefits plans and continues to improve and upgrade back office support such as payroll and benefits through various quality control endeavors.
