Responsibilities: 

  • Inventory Technician will be responsible for performing the inventory activities related to Sales Order Fulfillment
  • Person must be highly motivated and self-driven to ensure our customers receive superior service and quality products
  • To ensure all orders are picked and consolidated accurately for shipment in a fast paced environment  
  • Responsible for performing all activities related to processing shipments for domestic and international customers
  • Must have the ability to multi-task with flexibility to prioritize daily workload and requirements, often under pressure
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively and work independently, as well as the ability to maintain a clean, organized and safe work area  
  • Will participate in managing On-Time delivery of customer orders by ensuring all items are picked on or before schedule ship date
  • Can work under minimal supervision with the demonstrated ability to establish personal priorities, plan workload and establish commitments for task completion as well as identify problem areas, target them for improvement and implement change
  • Must possess the operating skills to use hand held scanners and learn to enter data in various systems as necessary  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent listening ability and the ability to write simple correspondence
  • Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations  
  • Needs to be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

 

Qualifications:

  • Education Requirement: High School diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year customer service related experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years related shipping experience preferred 2-4 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience Requirements: Strong customer service skills PC computer literate with Database entry skills
  • Self-Motivated Ability to work independently as well as in a fast paced team environment.
  • Professional, upbeat attitude & punctuality are essential
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced with packaging & shipping raw materials and finished goods in a timely and safe manner and must be familiar with various packaging techniques
